It was mentioned that the Green Crescent, which was created to fight alcohol addiction, has expanded over the years to include cigarette, drug and technology addiction.

Mr. CEYLAN also mentioned that the Green Crescent Association supports scientific research and academic research, and that monthly scholarships are provided in return for the Master's and Doctoral thesis topics in this field. In the presentation, it was mentioned that written and visual media, internet and social media networks are seen as areas of active struggle against addiction and thus trying to convey information to all segments of the society. Scientific and evidence-based methods were used to carry out research and development activities against addiction, and projects were developed according to the results obtained.
